International Recording Artist Jon Paul Puno will be hosting a charity benefit event at Porta Via Beverly Hills (424 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210) on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM to benefit Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children. Jon Paul will be performing at 8:00 PM and guests are invited throughout the evening to browse works of art by artist Olympio adorning the Porta Via walls. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be going to Good Shepherd Center. Admission is complimentary.
Founded in 1984, Good Shepherd Center began as an emergency shelter and drop-in center for women living on the streets. Its mission is to empower women and their children to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency through housing, employment and support services offered with dignity and love.
Jon Paul makes his international premiere with his self-titled debut album produced by Multi-Platinum GRAMMY® Award winning producer Robert Cutarella (Eric Clapton, Sting, Joss Stone). Named #20 on the “Top 50 Artists in 2012” of the UK’s Classical-Crossover.co.uk chart, he is captivating audiences worldwide with a voice described as lush as velvet. Guests will be treated to an exclusive preview of his album.
An active member of the Beverly Hills community, Jon Paul is a member of the Beverly Hills Centennial Committees, Team Beverly Hills, Ambassador of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and winner of the Beverly Hills Centennial Commemorative Stamp Contest. He recently took the stage alongside an all-star lineup composed of fellow Beverly Hills residents including Pat Boone, Betty White, Larry King, Richard Simmons, Florence Henderson and the Sherman Brothers to celebrate Beverly Hills’ big 100th Birthday Concert to a sold-out audience at the historic Saban Theatre.
