Beverly Hills 9OH2O’s Culture of Innovation and Excellence

By Jon Gluck, Co-Founder & President, Beverly Hills Drink Company, maker of the world’s first crafted water Beverly Hills 9OH2O

We are thrilled to have been selected by our fans and peers as the most innovative small business in Beverly Hills. Since its celebrated launch in 2013, Beverly Hills 9OH2O has taken the world by storm.  Our story has been covered by hundreds of leading media outlets worldwide, the product has tens of thousands of fans, and it is now carried by some of the world’s most iconic establishments, including local esteemed establishments Bulgari on Rodeo, InterContinental Century City, LACMA, Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Montage Beverly Hills, Porta Via, Sugarfina, The Hollywood Bowl, Vosges Haut-Chocolat, and the soon-to-open Ocean Prime Beverly Hills and Wally’s Vinoteca to name just a few.  To cap it all, Beverly Hills 9OH2O won the coveted World’s Best Water Award, the first American water to do so.  These are all testaments to the bold vision and unrelenting passion of our exceptional team.

Our company has certain fundamentals it sticks to in our quest to create incredible products. One of those key fundamentals is innovating always. We are beyond fortunate to have true creative geniuses on our team, including my Dad and Co-Founder Adrian Gluck who is a prolific inventor with 12 issued patents and many more pending. Adding to our creative brain trust is the world’s foremost water sommelier Martin Riese who has been featured by major media, including Bloomberg TV, Conan O’Brien, Good Morning America, and many more. Not only is Martin the world’s authority on bottled water but he also has a creative streak that is a delight to have on board. The list goes on.

Our first product – the Luxury Collection – was released in May 2013 and includes several unique innovations, including a proprietary crafted water formulation, a patented bottle design, and of course our trademark brand name Beverly Hills 9OH2O. As you dive even deeper into that product you’ll find subtle details that bring smiles to the faces of our most die-hard fans. For instance, we are the first company to secure a custom company UPC number, which – as you may have guessed – is 90210. That special number will be on all our future products and is exclusive to our company. Launching this October is our highly-anticipated second product: the Lifestyle Collection of Beverly Hills 9OH2O. Its portable, affordable sapphire blue and glimmering gold bottle is sure to turn heads. We are also launching an exciting invitation-only home and office delivery service within Beverly Hills so that residents and professionals can enjoy the best water in the world whenever they want it. We invite those interested to email us at to secure an exclusive invite.

This kind of commitment to innovation and excellence is the driving force behind our work. Margaret Mead was right: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” We are a committed team of innovators with the big vision of taking water to the next level. And we’re just getting started!
